Bruce Leslie

Bruce leads Vast Solar’s heliostat and solar field productisation and manufacturing supply chain initiatives. For over 30 years, his career has focused on innovative engineering, complex multi-disciplinary technical projects, and the commercialisation of engineering designs. His designs for dragline buckets, excavator lips and wear parts for the mining sector are internationally recognised through multiple patents. Active in renewable energy since 2006, Bruce joined Vast Solar in early 2018. 

Bruce was awarded a Doctor of Engineering degree in 2018. He also holds a Master of Engineering Science degree from the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of EngineersAustralia and the Australian Institute of Energy.
